GREEN-GREY SPONGE SUIT SUSHI TURTLES!		At one time Playmates Toys was actually considering a line of Sushi Turtles action figures! I suppose the lines of coke were particularly long that day. Sushi Turtles was a parody of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. TMNT characters mutated from gritty to cartoony in their transition from comic books to licensed characters. Sushi Turtles (naturally) began life as slick goody-goodies (see below), later mutating to BUFF MUSCLE-TURTLES by donning sponge suits.
